Thoughtful space design

The Minimalist rises from the ashes of a 50’s back split home

A retro home was stripped to its bare bones and re-engineered into a minimalist’s paradise. Clean white lines and fixtures with warm oak accents create the ultimate palette for the living art to play throughout white-walled galleries and open stairs.

“The kitchen is so bright and clean, it’s the heart of our home.”

The relaxing absence of decorative elements

The scaled back simplicity of all the rooms allows for clarity and peace of mind. Visual complexity was aggressively reduced in each room to achieve a place of lightness.

Material Highlights

A sense of clean simplicity was created by working primarily with white finishes interrupted by raw oak and quartz counters. The elements and materials that jump off of the white canvas are almost exclusively natural with subtle motifs. All slates and plumbing features also adhere to the neutral palette.

“We wanted an uplifting and inspirational space that was also relaxing and soothing.  Our new home is calm and comfortable but also great for entertaining …. Just what we wanted!”
