Thoughtful. Luxurious. Interior Design.

A Japanese Korean Restaurant is our idea of Sake & Dreams

A renovation of this Yorkville classic eatery helps redirect the 'Koko Share Bar' brand from quaint to chic with a heavy dose of vibrant charm.

“In this establishment, there are two long tables where diners are expected to sit beside strangers. And there is some insinuation that the restaurant expects us to talk to strangers and maybe even share food with them.”

Built for sharing, designed for fun

Koko's Asian inspiration has been highlighted in the minimal textured wall treatments and linear seating arrangement, as seen in authentic Japanese restaurants.  The warm woods, balanced with high gloss black features, create a true hybrid of Old World tradition and a gathering spot of modern vibrancy.

Material Highlights

This single room space offers a new exciting vibe with the addition of back lit pink upholstered banquettes, glossy black wood textures, as well as 2-toned mirrored walls, new glowing orb fixtures and LED neon signage.

“My favourite Korean lunch joint is now ALSO my super cute cocktail and pre-party hang out  ..... loving the new vibe here!”
